Tutorial: How to make Commentary and Machinima!

Ever think to yourself "Aw, I wanna make awesome Halo/Black Ops videos, but I don't know how! WAAAAHHHHH!!!" Well, wah no more! We uploaded an in-depth, fully detailed video on how to make those crappy little videos you want to make so much! :-D

No commentaries for a while, but for good reason!

We will be slow on uploading fresh commentaries for a while, because we're putting more focus time on producing machinima! Today I'm uploading all our backstock of commentary vids. Including a mini-series we did called "The dRANK Game" where me and Jon drunk these "extreme relaxation" beverages called dRANK and tried to stay awake while playing on Xbox Live. Needless to say, we stopped because we got too tired... which means dRANK wORKS!! Please check their facebook page for info on where to get yourself a dRANK!

Okay, we've got back stock of commentary episodes we recorded but haven't uploaded yet. We'll upload those first before we record any new ones, and then we will upload new videos when they are rendered. New Machinima episodes are being put into production. Please be patient with us on those, we're new at this.

New series: BUNGIE DAY MATCHMAKING

Our new mini-series, Bungie Day Matchmaking is a live commentary series where we recorded us playing on 7/7/11 in search of Bungie and STEAK! Unfortunately, we found neither. But we had fun!

Are You Serious?! Productions - HD Trailer

Are You Serious Productions will now be making machinima and commentary video in FULL HD. Not low quality SD upconverted to HD resolution, FULL high quality 720p res HD! Enjoy all our future wacky outings into matchmaking in Halo 3, Reach and now Black Ops in HD!

For better or worse...

An update! We might be going through a transition... The reason we haven't posted any new videos is because we got a new TV and our usual capture setup will NOT work and the only alternative is an expensive one. So, this will either be the end of the road for us, or just a long pause. Either way, we will update you when whichever happens.

Episodes 19-26 posted!

We now have eight more gameplay/commentary videos up! And, in a few of them, we have our friend Timmy (xxAnubisxx09) playing with us! Below are a couple of them to get started!

UP AND RUNNING

Our computer's power supply unit blew out... But no worries! We're now back up and running (as long as the new one don't blow up, because I installed it myself). So! The un-rendered videos will be rendered, and our favorite Are you SERIOUS?!? Moments from TV and film will play before select gameplay videos!

Brace for tardness, it's gonna be a lame ride!

We still suck

Yeah, computer is still on the fritz, shuttin down every few minutes or few hours. Shuts off completely at random. We figure one of our fans are broken and it's overheating. Fans are $80 and up, and we don't have it. So yeah, we still suck, and will try to post more as soon as we can.

However, good news: CODY HAS REACH!!! So expect more Reach videos after we've posted what's left of our not-yet-rendered Halo 3 vids!

Computer Problems

We are experiencing bad computer problems. So yeah, that explains why we haven't uploaded any new videos, updated our facebook, and why this update is a day late. So, until we figure out how to resolve our problems (computer shuts off randomly, slowing internet connection, etc.) we won't be updating/uploading as often as we used to.

So, hope for the best! And enjoy our first 18 episodes until we get going again!
